Dell Launches Streak 7 – 10-inch Business Tablet

Few months before, we’ve showed you the Dell streak in India. Now on Thursday Dell declared a tablet with a 7-inch touch screen at CES 2011 LAS VEGAS, and it plans to launch a 10-inch tablet later this year for business customers.

Dell briefly flashed the 10.1in Streak at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), but put the Streak 7 center stage, touting the tablet’s Corning Gorilla Glass-covered face, its Nvidia Tegra dual-core 1GHz processor, 1.3Mp webcam, 5Mp stills cam, GPS, 32GB of Flash storage, and its 2.4GHz 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Streak 7, like Streak 5, will run Android 2.2, so Dell’s clearly unwilling to wait for Android 3 Honeycomb. The 7′s display resolution is just 800 x 480. Dell also announced its Venue smartphone, which has a 4.1-inch screen and an 8-megapixel camera.

No word yet on release date, price, or if there will be a consumer version.

Dell Launched Dell Streak in India

Dell launched the Dell Streak in India in association with Qualcomm and Tata DOCOMO. It’s a 5-inch Android-based tablet by Dell.

Dell Streak was designed with the future in mind and will support updates including platform upgrades, Adobe Flash 10.1 on Android 2.2 later this year, video chat applications and other software innovations.

Rs. 34,990 is the initial cost and it will be available for pre-booking at all Dell Exclusive stores, and Tata DOCOMO authorized retailers.

Dell Vostro V13 Laptop

Dell Singapore has just launched the thing officially as the Vostro V13, complete with specs. Oops. Dell PR tries to put out that fire, we can dance in the rubble and tell you that Dell‘s putting everything it learned building the Adamo XPS to some more practical use in the .65-inch thick, sub-3.5-pound V13, which packs either a 1.2GHz Celeron, 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo or 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo with integrated X4500MHD graphics under that 13.3-inch screen. Sure, the design isn’t as wild as the Adamo XPS, but the extra thickness means that it can accommodate an Ethernet port, along with eSATA, USB, an SD card slot and even a freaking ExpressCard slot.

Dell Adamo Laptop $1999

Dell’s officially announced the first machine in the Adamo line, 13.4-inch model. Same what we see at CES. A hot little case holds a 1.2GHz Core 2 Duo U9300 with integrated Intel X4500 graphics, 2GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD, & it all weighs four pounds — a pound more than the MacBook Air.

Not exactly a barnstormer, in just $1,999 — it looks like you’re spending the majority of that cash on high-end design flourishes like a magnetic cover that hides the Microsoft-required Windows authenticity sticker. Hopefully this thing will be joined by some higher-powered siblings when it arrives on March 26th, keep your fingers crossed.

Dell Mini 9 Netbook now worth $250

The base model of Dell’s well-liked and unusually compact Mini 9 is now just $250. This is one of the cheapest netbooks, but with similar carnage on the spec-sheet: it has just 512MB of RAM, no Windows XP, and a small 4GB of storage. No discount exists for the swanky 3G models, which will cost you $450 or more.
