The Windows Phone Marketplace has just arrived at your doorstep. Microsoft heralded its arrival in a blog post today. Those of you in Bulgaria, Iceland and a handful of different countries: the Windows Phone Marketplace has just arrived at your step.

Window Phone’s global coverage to a complete of 54 countries and this number will continue to climb in 2012. The company hasn’t announced any dates yet, but it is expected to roll out the marketplace to the UAE, Bahrain, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Israel, Thailand, and Vietnam.

We’re excited about all the new Marketplace locations, but there’s one recent addition worth special mention: China. Maybe you saw the news today about the Nokia Lumia phones coming to China Telecom. In less than three months, we’ve added 20,000 apps and 15,000 registered developers to our new China Marketplace.

1. Motorola Milestone

Motorola has been enormously quiet in Australia over the last few years but i’m hoping it comes to market with the high point, which is similar to the Droid that Motorola launched in the US.It runs Android 2.0 and has iPhone-like multitouch support, with users able to pinch the 3.7-inch screen to zoom on web pages, maps and photos. The phones comes with Motorola’s one-by-one GPS navigation software, MOTONAV, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 5-megapixel camera.

2. T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide

3G Slide has a 3.4 inch display, side slide out QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera, 600 MHz processor, and Swype touch keyboard. The new Android features include the Faves Gallery, myModes, and Genius button. Modes is a cool way where your device can be setup to automatically change the customization of the HTC Sense interface based on time and position so you can have it switch from business to personal mode after the workday ends.

3. Nokia N8

The N8 is also the 1st Symbian^3 powered device. While the user interface doesn’t look much different than what we see in S60 and Maemo, It does have improvements that will probably appeal to Nokia and Symbian fans about the world and may even bring in some new fans.

Specifications include 5-band 3G data support, anodized aluminum casing in five colors, 3.5 inch 640×360 pixels resolution OLED display, 720p video recording capability, 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, internal 16GB memory with support for microSD expansion cards, HDMI port, USB , FM transmitter, 680 MHz processor, and USB On-the-Go so you can plug in USB devices to use them without a PC.

The iPhone 3GS provides great video recording with its 3MP camera as well as editing features and allows you to shoot video in any way you please. The camera allows you to record 640 x 480 videos at 30 frames / second, which is almost DVD quality. Trimming options allow you to remove any unnecessary footage and with just a click away you can simply share these videos on YouTube. When emailing videos, the iPhone 3GS increases compression and shrinks videos’ dimensions to 480 x 360 to get the bitrate of 800 kb/sec. The quality of the resulting videos drop down but it is adequate for the casual users and comparable to most videos created with cell phones.

Nokia N9 Meego Slider & X5 Square Slider Phones

Nokia’s first MeeGo slider smartphone will be the Nokia N9? A slider phone that seems like an upgraded version of N8 with the addition of a QWERTY keyboard. This QWERTY keyboard is too flat & having a tilting display.
Another newly launched Nokia QWERTY CellPhone is the X5, a square slider phone, which has been officially announced in Singapore. The new X5 is quite different from the Nokia X5 announced in China a few months ago, and specifically targeted to young generation. Features include Symbian S60, social networking integration (Facebook, MySpace, YouTube) with notification feature, a small QVGA screen, and a 5MP camera.

The Nokia X5-01 will cost approx. $195. Coming in lots of colors including pink, blue & green.

Sony released a new water resistant, wearable Walkman “NWZ-250″. This tiny Walkman comes in both 2GB and 4GB capacity models, and apparently boasts an up to 11 hour battery life.

Panasonic is going to launch its In-Dash CN-MW200D and CN-WM100D GPS gadget in this September. They both sport a 7-inch Touchscreen wide display. They also comes with iPod friendly connectivity so you can view your iPod Video on its 7-inch Wide Screen. Both pack the feature to support DVD, CD and HDD data playback plus a 2 DIN AV system. The difference is that the CN-MW200D comes with a Digital TV tuner while the CN-MW100D gets a 1Seg TV tuner. No price has been announced as yet.

The new personal navigation device (PND) is designed to provide hassle free road navigation with cutting edge features like voice prompted directions and a 4.3-inch touch-screen (480 x 272 pixels) for better user interface to its consumers. It doesn’t just come loaded with SatGuide maps but includes features like a calculator and digital entertainment features such as an audio player and video player which makes it as much a PMP as a GPS device.

Bose has introduced the SoundLink wireless music system, a one-piece portable speaker system that allows users to play music from their computer – wirelessly – in and around the home. No software or Wi-Fi connection for setup is required. Just plug the included SoundLink USB key into the computer, select music – from iTunes, Pandora, or any other Internet radio or music source – and the audio will stream to the SoundLink system via a long-range wireless link that works through most walls and floors.

For added flexibility, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery is included. It’s charged by the system’s AC power supply – no outlet is required. The battery provides all the power the system needs for up to three hours when played at full volume or for longer periods at more moderate listening levels. The SoundLink system features a proprietary acoustics package, which combines exclusive Bose waveguide speaker technology and neodymium transducers to deliver room-filling, high-quality audio from a very small enclosure.

The system’s infrared remote control operates the power and volume, and can send transport control commands to most applications, allowing users to skip tracks or play/pause from a distance. Touch-sensitive volume buttons also are located on the unit itself. Although designed primarily for wireless connectivity to a computer, the SoundLink system features an auxiliary input for connecting additional audio sources, including an iPod, iPhone, MP3 player or CD player. The new SoundLink wireless music system comes in Gloss Black, and will be available Bose stores beginning August 27, 2009.

Sony recently launched the new Walkman W series Mp3 players for those who hate to be tangled in wires while listening to their favorite music on the Go.
