Water Resistant Sony Walkman NWZ-W250 Series

Sony released a new water resistant, wearable Walkman “NWZ-250″. This tiny Walkman comes in both 2GB and 4GB capacity models, and apparently boasts an up to 11 hour battery life.

Weighing in at 43 grams and will be available in black, silver, lime green, and magenta. You’ll be able to pick up one (or more) of these later this month for $60. See the snapshot above.

A product of CNK Promotions, this unique pendrive is certainly something I would like to pocket. I swear it would not surprise me in the least to see a news bulletin somewhere where a guy decided to try to suck the beer out of his USB drive. It’d likely start with one guy either daring or offering up some small fund to do it like a dollar. It really wouldn’t take much for someone to do it. Well luckily there are no links to actually purchase this USB drive instead it is just an example of all the cool things a certain company can do with USB drives.

The company can not only fill your USB drive with liquid but add little objects to the mix. Like a car for a racing company. Basically those cheesy pens that the top of them was filled with liquid have now been replaced with these USB drives. Well I suppose it had to happen eventually. This Multiutlity charging station has two iPod/iPhone plugs, two USB and one of each a micro-USB and a mini-USB plug. The micro-USB plug looks quite useful as almost all of the mobile gadgets to be launched now on consist of the micro-USB slot for charging.

Corsair has launched a gadget that claims to be the world’s fastest USB flashdrive. The Flash Voyager GT as it is called is a 128GB high capacity USB flash drive. Flash Voyager GT can read at the top speed of 32Mbps and has the writing speed of upto 25.6Mbps which is almost the speed limit of the USB 2.0 bus. Even with the high data holding capacity the flash drive is 75% smaller than regular flashdrives of less than half the capacity.

The 128GB Voyager GT is nearly twice as fast as other high-capacity flash drives which means less time waiting for your music, video, or office files to copy to and from the drive. The other flashdrives of 128GB capacity available in the market are Kingston’s DataTraveler and DiscGo. The Flash Voyager GT costs Approx Rs 2000. That’s Too much?

Toshiba has announced the launch of the world’s first 64GB SDXC Memory Card gadget accessories with the new SD Memory Standard Ver. 3.00, UHS104. Toshiba also unveiled 32GB and 16GB SDHC Memory Cards compliant with the world’s fastest data transfer rate. Samples of the new SDXC Memory Cards will be available this November and the samples of the new SDHC Memory Cards will be available in December.

The new SDXC and SDHC memory cards bring a new level of ultra-fast read and write speeds to NAND flash based memory cards with a maximum write speed of 35MB per second and a read speed of 60MB per second. The combination of large storage capacities and increased data transfer rates will meet the needs of a wide range of consumer electronics applications such as digital still cameras and digital camcorders that require high bandwidth data communication. With these cards it will be possible to download a 2.4GB video in only 70 seconds.

The SDXC card is the next-generation standard defined by the SD Association in January 2009. The new standard applies to cards with capacities over 32GB and up to 2TB compared to the SDHC standard, which applies to cards with capacities over 2GB and up to 32GB.
