Nokia’s New Mobile Phones: E63 & 5800

The much awaited cellphone Nokia E63 is now available in India. Retailing for less than Rs. 15,000 INR, this seems to be a good buy. But compared to the expectations of 250$, I think that the process are still a little steep, however the Mobile Phone is pretty impressive. Though a little bigger than E71, I would say a good upgrade from an E61i.
Nokia 5800 Xxpress Music
It’s also confirmed that the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will hit the Indian stores by this weekend. The pricing is Approx. Rs. 19,400. The first batch of Nokia’s in 2009 is looking good. The 5800 faces competition from LG Cookie which is aggressively priced @ Rs. 13,000 & highly promoted in India. The LG Cookie went on sale last week.
So at the end, we’re expecting some phones in 2009 year.
Update: Nokia launched Nokia 5800 XpressMusic on 6th January’08 at the cost of Rs 21,899 on A.R. Rehman’s birthday.
Recent Update: Nokia had shipped just over 500,000 5800 XpressMusic mobiles in just 30 days.
More Updates: Nokia’s New York & Chicago stores got inventory of Nokia 5800, but didn’t start selling, however you can pick up Nokia’s touchscreen pioneer for just $399 i.e. less than iPhone cost.
