Wikipedia As Mobile Friendly Site
Wikipedia has been the foremost site for understanding and gaining information on just about anything. While you were always able to access the site via any normal WP enabled handset with HTML support, it would either take too long to load the page or look a little off due to either compression or your browser struggling to house the site in entirety.

No need to worry now, Wiki has gone mobile with a mobile friendly site i.e. mobile.wikipedia.org. It’s an extremely simple interface that enables you to get your Wiki info a whole lot easier than ever before. True there have been Wiki-friendly applications and services via SMS etc. but there isn’t anything like the original.
