Gigabyte launched GV-R487D5-1GD graphic card in India
Based on the highly anticipated ATI Radeon HD 4870 GPU, the RoHS compliant graphic card features 1GB/256-bit high-speed GDDR5 video memory and native DisplayPort connectivity to offer best digital audio/video interconnection between a computer and monitor or home theater system. It boasts to provide 10.8Gbps of bandwidth as compared to prior generations of connectivity options that include DVI, LVDS and VGA.
Moreover, it also includes TeraScale graphics engine with teraFLOPS of GPU computing power, 800 stream processor and one billion transistors. It also carries ATI PowerPlay technology to enhance the performance per watt, by adjusting the performance and power depending on the GPU demand.
